190E Rear Door Handle Removal
Need help with removal of rear door handle. Rear door does not have lock. Should I pry out small piece in front of handle then slide handle back? I do not want to brake anything. Tech Info shows only front door removal by inserting the key to remove lock then slide handle back. Thanks!

Did you back out the allen set screw located at the rear door edge?

Click on MB workshop resources Click on CD/DVD Click on W201 Look down the page to chapter 72 doors Wait for PDF to load Scroll down to the bottom of the document to chapter 72-241 (incorrectly labelled in at the top of the page as chapter 92...! But correctly labelled in the index!) you will see there is an Allen head bolt (as mentioned above) that needs to be removed from the inside of the door edge before the cover to the rear of the handle comes out - before the handle can slide out...
