98 c43 PSE pump runs every few minutes

So last week I started to notice that my PSE pump is running every few minutes as I drive home anyone know what might cause this to happen??

I posted this over on MBWorld:

A leak anywhere in the locking system or the orthopedic seat system will cause this. My son's C43 was doing this and there was a small leak where the tube joins the bladder for the passenger's side knee bolster. We had to replace the bladder.

Have you tried deflating all the bladders one-by-one? That is how we isolated the leaking one. We also found that by leaving the leaking one deflated the cycling of the PSE pump stopped and we could wait to fix the problem until a later date.

Thanks I will give that a try

That is your leak. If you don't use/need that one you can just leave it shut off. The rest of them should work fine. If you need that bladder it can be replaced. The side bolster bladders are easy to replace with minimal effort. The knee bolster and lumbar bladders require a lot of disassembly. It took me several hours to replace the knee bladder. I had to remove the seat, separate the lower cushion from the backrest, disassemble the lower cushion, then reverse. That bladder is attached to the "horsehair pad with big staples (the kind used to close large cardboard boxes). It was a pain to do.
