Please help Grandpa
 
Hi,
I am a member as of today, and it is do to the alarm on pops '86-
560SEL. It will not shut off unless the battery is disconnected. He is very frustrated..as are the rest of us. Please any ides to bring piece to the neighbors..and the house..lol thank you

Front passenger side, remove carpet, remove the fastener holding the plastic panel to the front firewall. Behind the plastic panel is the alarm control unit , black plastic box about 8" long 3" wide, has two multi-conductor plugs attached to it, it's almost always marked as manufactured by "Becker".

Unplug the wiring to the controller and it will stop all its functioning. You can leave it unplugged it won't effect anything.

Thank You Happy for the assistance with alarm.fingers crossed it does the trick.. I will let you know..It might be awhile nobody but pops touches car....but first I have to get him to listen to car advice from a girl...lol
