2004 E500 wipers not working
 

2004 E500 wagon 4matic
For few days now wipers started to act up. Sometimes they turn on, sometimes not. Same with the washers, sometimes splashing water or sometimes not, or both. Upon car restart the functions return or sometimes not. I can tell you …very annoying.
What should I look in to? Relay, combination switch, rusted fuses etc
Forgot to mention that there were no codes on start diagnostic.

Do you have the reain sensing wipers option?

Yes I do

Everything on these newer cars goes through a relay.

Just because you turn a switch, no longer means you have directed power to the desired motor..... The relay "decides" if you are going to get what you request.

Time to pull the codes with the MB diagnostics.

I mentioned in the first posts that no codes are present.( except one related to my GPS antenna which I am aware of) That is why I was inclined to a mechanical obstruction.
