W210 transmission issue

Ok, I finally decided to change the tranny oil in my '97 W210 by an indie and now it does not want to upshift to 4th or 5th when cold. No fault codes.

I probably should have left a good thing alone but was wanting to do the thing some good to make it last longer even in So Cal. It does have 230K on it.

Anybody can help me here? Any adjustment I can make or should I start shopping for a new tranny?

I'd start by checking the fluid level. Have you done that?

The fluid/filter change must have killed it.
