beeping noise

I hear a beeping noise while driving. Its like a warning constant beeping. Also getting the oil light and the engine does have a leak. The car is an 89 300se with 166k miles and thanks to my trusty mehcanic i bought a car with a mijor oil leak.

alsoi i added one quart of oil and it is back up to the regular mark. Is this bad to loose one quart in 3k miles.

For an egine with 166k miles one quart of oil every 3.5k is quite normal. As for the beeping noise... ??????
