Transmission 03' CLK
 

Hello out there!
I have a 2003 CLK and in either C or S mode the transmission will not come out of 1st gear. It happens off the line and is intermittent but is happening more often now. I have to pull over put it in neutral and then back in drive and it corrects. The transmission is a rebuilt and was installed last year. Any thoughts...?

You may have an issue with the electronics in the gear selector.

Start by checking the fluid level. If it's OK find a shop with an MB SDS and have them run a "quick test". In most cases the answer to your issue will be obvious.
