Fuse size

Noticed a fuse had a funky look and was actually broken. It seems like it's larger than the new one but they are both supposed to be 16A each. It came from the #7 slot. Is 16A the correct size for all it seems to protect?? http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04...b1fc3e502d.jpg

Here's a new fuse from my wagon and it certainly is wider than the one from the 2.6E!http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04...6eb7872db2.jpg

16A is the correct size for the #7 circuit.

From the appearance of the one you pulled, Id sure suggest a full fuse replacement
with proper fuses.

Can someone confirm that the (thinner) fuse in the first post is a 16A? The element simply seems too small as compared to the burned one. Is it possible that because (it appears) the thinner one is made of copper as opposed to aluminum(?) ? Thank you...:)

Copper is a better conductor of electricity than aluminum. So it makes sense that the copper would be more narrow or thinner than the aluminum.
