Pandora combatability
I posted this in the audio section of the forum
I just purchased a 2000 S 500 with just over 200,000 miles, it has the factory radio/nav system in the dash it all works properly, it also has the buttons on the steering wheel they all work also, it has the original factory installed cell phone the OEM cord for the phone is also there. My question is how can I connect or get Pandora to work with the factory system? __________________ |
Hi Stuiie,
I have the same W220 chassis audio system with my S600. I am using a cassette adaptor to plug my iPhone to stereo. It is an old-low-tech solution that is inexpensive and works. I have been doing research on stereo swap. I had a local company install a Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth connection for streaming audio and hands free telephone, plus USB port in My W210 E430 for about $300.00 drive out. This did not require a different wood trim on the E430, but will on the S600 as the Double Din Stereo will be different than screen and button setup on the W220 S Class. I found a Wood Trim kit on Ebay. But I am having no luck finding a plug and play radio harness that will connect a Kenwood or Pioneer unit to the existing amp and speaker system. If anyone knows of a supplier of compatible wiring harness for the W220 S Class please let me know. Best regards, Jeffrey |
