500E climate control always on?

Hey, i was reading the manual for my 500E because the owner before me told me that the A/C should always be on to stabalize something in the car? So I just took his word for it and was reading the manual and it said if you turn the A/C into the off position, it should only be temporarily for maintenance. Why is this?

Air flow thru the CAR is the reason that they want you to keep the system on.
Chevrolet started this with "ASTRO" ventilation back in the 60's.
