I have changed lots of MB pads in the past, but when I look at the caliiper assembly on my E420, I don't see an obvious way to remove the pads. Can anyone talk me thru this? (I have MB pads ready to stick in there when I get the procedure down). Thanks.
p.s. An e-mail to raythomas@cwix.com would be appreciated. |

Are they the same on a '94? I have replaced mine without much trouble.

The newer models are somewhat different in design, most require removal of a large spring on the outside of each caliper. Also the caliper needs to be romoved from the mounting "carrier". The inner pad has alignment springs that insert into the caliper piston. WEAR GLOVES & be very careful!!
