PCV valve and filter

Again, during my 30,000 mile service (85 190E 2.3, 130K) I asked the tech to check the PCV valve and filter, and replace if necessary. The service advisor tells me that there is no PCV valve and filter on this car. Is that true? I remember seeing it in the service manual.

Thanks.

MB doesn't use PCV valves. They use metered PCV orifaces. These can clog and should be checked/cleaned at 30k services.

Thanks a lot, Steve. If you could also respond to my blower motor question (whether there is a way to lube it), I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks again.
