87 300E Climate Control
 

The climate control fan in my car will only blow air out of the side vents, not the center ones. At one time, air would intermittently come out of the center vents, now, none at all. I have been told that this is vacuum operated and there may be a leak. Is this vacuum operated, and if so, would anyone know where to look?

The fan motor is now intermittent. It sometimes will not come on when I first start the car but, after it does start to blow it will remain on until I shut the car off again.

Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated.
