1978 450 SLC steering box
 

How in the world are you supposed to get to the adjuster lock nut on the steering box ? It appears that I have to either pull the exhaust manifolds or drop the whole box, neither are easy propositions. Is there a tool or some other magic ? Help!!!!!

I have been told to just drop the box. If yours is like the last three I have seen, it is probably seeping at the gaskets anyway.
