Had driven car 600 miles since purchase and now am blowing blue smoke. But not all the time. Usually smokes when accelerating. On some accelerations i get no smoke. It doesn't seem to correlate with warm or cold engine. Could this relate to crankcase ventilation? Valve problem? I am a fair diy'er but have never tackled valves. Still trying to get shop manual...any suggestions?

Check for worn or "floating" valve guides, for the bottom end on this engine is thought to be fairly srong.
