Flex discs won't bulge! 190E 2.3

I'm trying to remove the driveshaft in order to do the center bearing. I loosened the center nut and removed the 2 screws on the bearing carrier, as well as the 3 bolts holding the driveshaft to the discs on the diff and the transmission. Even if I'm pulling on the shaft to drop it, it still won't get free from the discs. The discs just flex and the shaft moves along. I cannot use the telescopic feature of the driveshaft because that just deflects the discs also. I tried prying the shaft off the discs but that also just makes the discs move. Its like if the shaft welded itself on the discs. Now I'm scared to damage the discs and I really don't feel like spending 250$ on 2 discs and having to wait a week to get them because of a stupid mistake. Any special trick to help me?

The disks get stuck to the metal yokes, just pry it away with something. I used a screwdriver.

i think taking it apart the other way is easier (i.e. take the disc off the yoke(s) instead of the driveshaft off the disc; i just did mine so they had to come off anyway but i think it's easier that way).....

Ok I managed to pry them off. Now I could only manage to get the rear half of the shaft off the car, the front part is still stuck in the car because the vibration damper thing won't clear the place where you bolt the bridge with the hook for the exhaust. Doesn't really matter since the rear part is the one with the bearing. Now I'm having a hard time getting the bearing out!

Got the bearing out and replaced it. Tomorrow I'll button the car back together. It's all good.
