Sacramento area independent Mercedes Repair

I am considering the purchase of a 1973 280SE in the Sacramento area and am looking for a good trustworthy independent Mercedes repair facility to inspect the car. Any recommendations? Thanks. BWhitmore2@earthlink.net

There is a section here on the forum that gives recommendations on local mechanics. They have realigned the heading and I can't remember where it is. After I post this, I will see if I can find it.

Stoll's German Auto- Rancho Cordova

He's been my indy for over 10 years that I've used for all of my 124's and 129's. He's an old-school one man shop with no frills. He's more than willing to tell you what you have to do to try to fix it yourself. No hesitation in recommending Paul Stolls.

Get a hold of Diesel Kraut. He is a traveling Mercedes Benz guru driveway mechanic who really know his stuff. He posts occasionally on BenzWorld.
