defrost..is it possible?
 

is it possible for the evaporator housing to accumulate water and not drain properly during a heavy rain due to increased humidity. Therefore pumping excessive moisture into the cabin and causing the windows to fog up excessivly.

Defrost is way too hot for a Texas summer

With the car parked and the AC running are you getting a good volume of water running out the drain tube and pooling under the car? If not check it for obstructions.

Defrost mixes the AC with heat. Here in Virginia on 95 degree days and 100% humidity the AC keeps the inside of the car dry but the outside of the windows fog up and driving in town it is not unusual to use the wipers intermittently.
