Hi! I recently purchased a 99' C280 that I absolutely enjoy driving.
Nonetheless, I have encountered an annoying noise that I can't seem to identify. It is a loud thumping sound that is occasionally coming from the rear right quadrant of the car. The sound is audible when the car is at a standstill, whether in "Park" or in "Drive". I took it to the dealership and they said that it was just normal operation of the fuel pump. I really don't think that a loud, random, thumping sound is indicative of any fuel pumps "normal operation". Can you provide any additional insight? |
Sorry, I haven't seen this problem yet. Let us know if they figure it out!!
