235/60R14 on W126

Any reason not to? They are just a tad wider and even a smaller tad less diameter.

Anybody run this size or know a good reason not to?

My SD came with 205/70R14.

I prefer stock sizes, but it is not my car.

They may/will rub on turns and in situations where there is extreme deflection (ie: high speed pothole). I have upgraded my W126 to P205/65-15 from the 14"s w/o issue. I got lucky & found a set of 15"s with the proper offset. You should be able to find an upgrade wheel with appropriate width & offset so that you can avoid rubbing issues. You may still have some issues with toe out on turns (squeal, wear). Also make sure the upgrade tire can support the weight. Good luck!

Yes, 205/70R14 is stock on these.

I have never deviated from stock on a Benz (yet - but tis tire time) , but most of my life have liked slightly wider smaller one on cars.

For trucks I like to get them factory low geared and over sized aggressive tread tires :D

Go to Tirerack.com or Discounttire.com, input your car, year and they will give you the stock size. I believe there is a section that will give you 4 different alternates in size that will work.
