I do have a/c however the fenale plug on the wire is only for 2 pins.

I have no idea about whether its a cosworth.

Do you mean use the start valve shut off that had a part number given in here? Otherwise i don't know what bosh part i was directed too.

Just buy the 3 pole switch and use only the 2 pin connector, don't use the third pole , part number should be on switch, the red temp switch at water pump is for 2nd stage activation when car is too hot,SWITCH "h" IS THE ONE YOU WANT

dr sternschnuppe: # 4 is the temp switch for the gauge. #1 is the gauge I need which is confirmed with a continuity test.

here's a link to my source.

http://www.startekinfo.com/StarTek/outside/11832/Resources/201Create/PDF/30003.pdf

It's the startek online manual I got from these fourms. The link will take you to the crank case section. The description starts on page 01-416 which you can click on the left side menu. It's a good picture of the location followed by a picture of each sensor.

This is for the 201.024 model with the 102.961 engine which is only on the '84 190e that I've found.
