1995 S320 Soft Close Door Pump location??

I need some help locating the soft close door pump. I know it should be by the fuel tank, left side, but its not there. I took all the paneling out and could not find it, or even the vacuum lines?

you should be able to hear pump run when you open trunk,check fuse if not.Search for 1995 S class image for pump location.

Its under left side of hat shelf area in trunk , behind foam encloser, its stuffed in foam box.

some dont have that option for closing assist

I thought maybe in doesn't have the option but then how do the rest headrest stay up? Don't they use the vacuum from that pump?

Rear headrests are dropped using engine vacuum.
