finding 1978 300d non turbo radiator problem
hello everyone. I'm new with the Mercedes diesel world, got the car in may of this year, love the car and been doing lot of tinkering with the car my self. (try not to take to the shop too much) NOW I am really stumped . I'm trying to fined a 1978 300d radiator that has a filler neck on the radiator. I called local parts store and near by MB dealer (Washington) and no luck. At one point I was thinking of getting the 240d radiator but on the forms, lot of not so good things will happen to the car. Is there any way I can fined a '78 300d radiator OR use the turbo radiator (I think '81 and up) with the expansion tank. Has any on have or had that problem??? If do any ideas?????

Welcome !
Not sure if what you are seeking is made but Id suggest going to a few of your local pick a parts and see if you might find one there. For the future, you will get better response having a D if you post in the diesel forum

The non turbo radiators are available all over the place on this side of the water.
See for example this thread => Radiator: Need more Help - Mercedes-Benz Forum
