Voltage regulator removal C220CDI W203
Hello every body;
I need to change the Voltage regulator on alternator of my the C220CDI (2002). Is it possble to remove it without removing the alternator? In advance thanks for help

I don't know the specifics of your engine but on the vast majority of MBs yes, it is accesible from underneath the car.

Sign up for the EPC (FREE)
AND look at your Alternator's regulator. It will be apparent if it's easily removable. cc260E, typically the voltage regulator attaches to the back of the alternator with 2 screws, and needs to be replaced when the brushes wear down so far that the alternator does not recharge the battery adequately. If you call your local MB Parts Department the rep will be able to describe the configuration of the voltage regulator, and how it attaches to the alternator. Or, you could check an online parts supplier for a picture of the voltage regulator.
By the way, how did you diagnose that you need a new voltage regulator?
