1998 C230 GAS SMELL

Two weeks ago I noticed a faint gasoline smell coming from the vents. I absolutely checked everything and cannot find the culprit. Checked the rear fuel pump, filter area and everything seems dry. Checked for leaks around fuel injectors and nothing. Please help. Smell got worse in the past two days. Thank you!

The only trouble spots I know of are the vent tubes near the gas fill neck. ( Remove the RR wheel and have a look. )

Past that, you may have to jumper the fuel pump relay ( with engine off ) and look for under hood leaks.

It turned out to be 3 loose spark plugs. Wow, I though I had them all nice and tight guess not. Thank you for help!
