Question 73 4.5 quit-partial inj pulses

[COLOR=blue] Great Forum and I have read a lot of posts.
I have a 73 108 body 280 SEL that quit while driving.
It will run when cold but quits running after a minute or so.
The fuel pressure stays at 33 psi, good spark but when I cycle throttle with key on engine not running , I only have part (4) of the injectors clicking , 2 on each bank. Cleaned and retightened grounds and verified battery to relay power and controller power and ground.
I can meter some fuel down t/bore to get car to idle, and do not hear any injectors clicking with a stethescope.
Is this the trigger points and if so how do I adjust them.
Any advise will be helpful

Sure sounds like the trigger points. Have you removed and cleaned them?

Run a points file through them lightly and spray it down with carb cleaner. Add a little cam lube on the leading edge of the rubbing blocks. I don't know of anyway to adjust these but if it runs better order a new set from our benefactors ($150). If the plastic covers for each point are missing they will get oily fast.
