good day
please im in a but of a mix. im trying to remove the oil pan from my 104 engine. I have a hoist holding the engine up but there doesnt seem to be enough space between the engine and the crossmember to get the pan out I cant raise it higher as the engine is sitting up against firewall.. . . . please help. im not really wanting to remove the engine from the car just for a pan change. . (its an automatic) |

Remove the steering link, remove the drivers side motor mount , remove the
fan shroud and intake air pipe, turn the crank shaft so the counterweights clear the oil pan and remove the pully in front(dampner), then you can slide forward, also remove front sway bar, you may need to put a block of wood under the ac compressor to tilt drivers side higher |
