32 Looks, and no replies??????
Wait, what forum is this? Lol!! Guess I'm not so ignorant after all, I expected everybody to dogpile me for a basic question. Try to ask a simple question on the Sunbeam Tiger Tech Forum. Everybody there has an opinion, and three tech articles to back it up. Not for the faint hearted, there are sharks in that water!!

Your other post Introduction, and Tech Question is very difficult to read because it is all bunched together and not separated into paragraphs ( individual thoughts. ) We don't make a big fuss about grammar but when something is too difficult to read, others don't respond.
You could copy past the post to any forum ( even not car ) and see if they agree. If you can trim down the post and clearly get to the point we can help you. |

Peter,
I took one look at that huge post without spacing and skipped right on to the next one. Anziani '97 CL600 52K |

Truth be told, this forum software does not always respect typed paragraph returns and what not. Script browser issues.

No one replied for the same reasons just as others said...
ALDA is a GM only connector for pre OBD2 cars, so looking for one will be a waste of time. MB used a proprietary connector for pre OBD2, just as Ford did, BMW, etc. You need to find a factory service manual for your W140 and start reading through it. To read codes you may be able to rig something up, but you will need to do some searching. The grammatical formatting is terrible on the post and piles of it is rambling regarding nothing about your S500. I could not make it through the post. Lastly, I really have no idea what you are trying to ask about your MB. Can you give us a simplified question breakdown? Welcome to the site. We are here to help and we all started with no knowledge, so help us help you.

Use proper punctuation and good grammar and you'll get a reply. I didn't look at your post at all.

Wowza. That was a short story... It could have been asked in 1 sentence.
