Our 1984 W126 500SEL Has memory seats. Dont know how to operate them anyway, but the back
switch on yhe pass. side recline works only when pushed in towards the door panel (hard)
The drivers seat worked perfect and then quit
on me(Ive checked the fuses) HELP!

The seat switch only sends signals to the seat computer(one under each seat). The computer sends power to correct motor for the seat to move, you could have several problems with the seats. See a M.B. technician w/expert electrical skills.
