Rear diff gear oil capacity ????????
 

I am getting ready to swap the rear diff in my 87 190E 16vlv b/c the pinion is shot and I have a couple of spare diffs here. Anyone know what the capacity is on the gear oil? Any ideas on specific brands as far as better than Quaker State, etc..... ? Thanks in advance.

It's simple. Refill 'till it starts ozzing out, then install plug. Any name brand is as good as the other. Pick a color.

You'll need two bottles (the ones with the long pointy top). It will take one full bottle and about 20% of the second one.
