Fault code C1200 S9/1

Have a C320 W203 2002 model we have the code c1200 s9/1 it has had stop lamp switch changed MB specialists checked actual values through ESP through stop light switch NC contact not showing correct stripped back wiring to ESP control module tested pins 44-17 all ok tested pins 44-1 and found okay on reconnecting ESP control unit working correctly drove the car for a few days okay then on start up ESP light on turn off and on no light at low speed ESP light comes on and ABS fires quick grabs then clears. would the park brake not having an audible ratchet cause Rear binding breaks and cause a problem with the ESP unit have you got any suggestions or ideas?
