Mystery switches

First of all....2 questions. Do I have a trunk light? and do I have a hood light? There is a switch in my trunk (the push down type on the lid) but I looked everywhere and can't find a trunk light. If I don't, what is the switch for? Also, immediately to the right of the battery is another one of those push down style switches, and there is a little plug in next to it that is unplugged. I don't think I inadvertently unplugged it, so I think it was already unplugged for some reason. What is this switch for and what could this little unplugged thing be for? Is this for an unknown hoodlight? Thanks for any help.

There is no underhood light, unless it is a Euro thing. The plunger style switch you are talking about near the battery is for the anti-theft alarm system. It may be unplugged because it was diagnosed as intermittently making the alarm activate, the neighbors love that sort of crap at 2am.
There is a trunk light. if you look at where the switch is on the deck lid, you will find the light inside the framing in the trunklid just above the switch. Maybe the bulb is missing, I believe it is a 10 watt bulb.

Great! Thanks! Found the trunk light...no wonder I couldn't find it, it's hiding. Yeah, no bulb, it does look like it could fall out easily, not much holding it in. Again, thanks.

It will most CERTAINLY fall out unless...
