I am having a severely bouncy ride in my 300TDT. One rear shock was leaking and it has been replaced and it is still bouncy. It acts as if the shocks are bad but I read that a bouncy ride without leakage means the air cells are bad. Is this an accurate statement? I have already pumped $400 into parts and need to know If I should replace the other shock even though it does not leak OR replace the suspension air-cells. The Control Valve has been replaced and does work. (levels the car properly). Any suggestions PLEAASEEEE!!!

Whoever guessed the "AIR CELLS" are causing the poor quality ride is most likely correct. The "cells" perform the damping action for the rear shocks.

The air cells acually hold hydraulic fluid/pressure and do fail often. Get them replaced and notice a HUGE difference. They are called accumualtors.
