Transmission mount replacement
 

Hi,

I just picked up a tranny mount for my '88 300se... it looks simple enough to install. Is there anything I need to consider when doing this job? Do I need to support the transmission during the removal and installation process??

I decided to change it because recently I've noticed my shifter moving around a lot - mostly side to side - while cornering and traveling over rough roads. The engine mounts were replaced a year or so back by my mechanic - they were completely shot. The tranny mount probably should have been replaced then...
