AC NEW COMPRESSOR WILL NOT START ERROR CODE 9006 HELP/ADVICE PLEASE

My car 2007 GL320CDI

I just replaced my ac compressor, expansion valve and the receiver/drier due to not

cooling low pressure was at 60-70 psi and high pressure was at about 125.

The new compressor is SSB (chinese version of Sanden/Behr C011280C, Perfect fit)

All is connected and charged with proper amount of 134a freon (vacuumed system 1.35

min to -30 and holding vacuum after 14 hrs), but the only way the compressor will

start is with DAS diagnostics under actuations of ac compressor.
Once it is runing it gives low pressure of 45psi and high pressure of 205psi, ambient

temperature 33.5c (92.3f).I am attaching some pictures for you to view.
The compressor will not start with the push button on AAC.

I am wondering if it is the compressor problem or something with my car ( I did not

have any of this issues with original compressor error code 9006)

Please help

Thanks in advance

You may need to perform the learn-in using SDS..........

Hi ILUVMILS

I did the compressor break-in procedure, but I am not sure how to go about the learning procedure in SDS. I just connected my old compressor to the ground and to the supply 14v wire and when I go to AAC MODULE there is no more fault code, does that sound like a bad solenoid in my new compressor?

Thank you

Wow. I am just astonished at how complicated cars are now. I believe the era of the shade tree mechanic is about gone.

Good luck with your AC. When I replaced the AC on my 1981 300SD, I just bolted it on and had my indy vac it out and put in freon. Guess that simple approach just does no longer apply.

Man am I out of date.

Good luck with yours.

Another new replacement compressor is on the way.
I will post update once the job is completed.

you should see how crazy some of the new japanese hybrids are - e.g. the new prius uses a fully sealed electric A/C compressor like you have in your home A/C. troubleshooting that is a pain.

What is the proper procedure of the learn-in or (is it the same as break in of ac compressor) ?
I did the break-in of compressor and message came up "Ac compressor initialization completed successfully"

Today the new compressor arrived and I connected the ground and supply voltage without installing it, error fault code 9006 shows up in DAS, when I connect my old compressor in the same manner error code is no longer in DAS.

Did I programmed the compressor properly or is the more to it?

It sounds like you did everything correctly. It also sounds like maybe the replacement may be the incorrect one for your car..........?

Hi I know this is an old thread but I’m writing this to hopefully help out some one who has replaced their ac compressor and you’re getting a 9006 fault code short to earth compressor.
I own a 2006 ml350 w164 and purchased a aftermarket A-Premium brand ac compressor and yes it was a made in China unit. After installing I got a 9006 code which would not clear, the problem was that inside the new compressor on the control valve there needed to be a diode just like the oem denso unit ,unfortunately my unit didn’t have it hence the fault. To correct this I spent $1.25 and purchased a diode part number 1N4007 and soldered it to the wire which plugs into the compressor and grounded the diodes negative end to a rocker cover bolt to earth it out. It now works as it should with no fault code, hopefully this will help.
