w124 300e fuel hose from tank need help
 

Ok guys seems this part is out of stock everywhere. Thing is it is just connected at the end on a barb with a hose clamp so couldn't I just repair it the same way with the same size hose and another barb? Anyone done this or know the size hose I need?

Seems do'able to me. Take the outlet strainer out though and make sure it's clean then install a Multi Fuel hose. O'Riellys has fuel hose as does NAPA etc.

That hose only has to hold gravitational pressure of fuel tank.

Have done this on diesel and gas tanks on many makes and models.

No. Unscrew tank outlet and take to flaps.
