stop on a dime?how 'bout using that dime1
i've just completed a search on front rotor thickness and didn't get the info i needed.i know i could use a micrometer t spec the thickness but one isn't handy.there is one at the outlaws, but, well, you know.i have a gauge that would work fine to measure thickness if it wasn't for the lip that occurs on the outer edge of the rotors.so then it hit me!if i compare that edge to,say,a dimes thickness then i would have a good idea as to whether i change my rotors or not.assuming the rotors haven't been changed does this sound viable?can that lip be more than a dime and less than a penny?
