Picture Parts Manual
I am trying to locate a picture parts manual in good/excellent condition for a 1994 S320. I have posted this question on the MB club of America site also. I have tried TMC publications but they do not have any. I am hoping to find one before going to ebay, where I hear that everything is expensive. Thanks Michael

I am looking for the book-picture parts manual. It did not come with the car but was available to order-free- from mbusa. As I understand it is very extensive is showing all the parts of my car-1994 S320. I do not think it gives tha part number just a picture.

What you are asking for, is only light, and would travel on airmail very well and cheaply.
Firstly try vossmotors@books for cars If you do no good there, I am sure they can still be bought in Australia, I bought one from my local dealer, only the other car for our w114. Send an email to Simon at parts@bea.mercedes-benz.com.au Tell him by all means I sent you, and he will give you a quote, ask him to include airmail costs, and then you can have in about ten days. If you like his quote, he will take visa. Regards Col |

CODE3SWFD,
I would love to know what it is you are looking for. I read your original posting and could not figure out what a picture parts manual is. Then I read your follow on post that it is something you can get from MB for free. Now I am more confused as others have piped up with suggestions on where to get one. What is it? I hope I am not being too obtuse, but they sound like they might be useful, or at least interesting. Thanks, Jim

Until recently, MB used to provide with each german built car at least, an exploded little parts book, which showed all the separate parts in the car.
It was about the same size as the owners manual. It showed the parts grouping, which meant you could contact the MB dealer parts man, and when you gave him the group number, and the item on that page, he could convert it to a proper part number. It was a good idea, as it took away, any mistakes. In otherwords, can I have that little gizmo, that goes onto the what do you call it. I must find out when benz stopped producing them, because they are not vailable for ML's. Regards Col |

My friend I know exactly what you want, I will be going down to my dealer, on Tuesday your time, and I will be surprised, if either he, or MBAU do not have it in stock.
I suspect that it will be less than US$10-00 including postage. Please send me an email direct to clydet@chariot.net.au An if you agree with the rough cost I will get one for you. For some reason, MB down here really stocked up on these books, I will be very surprised, If I cannot solve the problem. It will be no problem to me, as I will be going to dealer anyway. Regards' Col |
