Subframe Bushing Removal, R129

I mistakenly thought the rear subframe bushings would be easy to get out in an R129. Does anyone have a detailed how to? Do you need the tools for this or is there an easy way? I am talking about the very rear ones. If you need a tool does anyone have one they used once and want to sell? Thanks

I'm not familiar with this SL but it all looks rather similar (on EPC) to the W124 / W201. Try searching for those vehicle types as well and you'll see how easy or if you're unlucky how difficult it can be!

(My W201 was easy - but I removed the whole subframe - spock's recent adventures with a W124 estate were not quite so straight forward - but most of his trouble was with rear wheel bearings)

You shouldn't need a tool if you use the weight of the car in your favor...assuming you dont live in a rust state. Bottle jack and some pieces of wood should do it.
