Clutch Swap
How many hours labour do you estimate to drop transmission on w123, change clutch and re-install??

I don't have specific info on your car. However on an older car, time to repair changes dramatically if it lived in the salt / rust belt.

I have done it in one day the 240D is easy to get to the transmission bolts

I think it would be doable in a weekend. I did a whole 5 speed swap in a W124 in a week so I would imagine just dropping the transmission for the clutch would be super simple.

For a garage with a lift and a transmission jack about half a day.
