HOW MANY DRAIN LINES IN 560 SEL SUNROOF

My sunroof has been leaking since it was rebuilt a number of years ago. Bought a new seal from Adsit.com (Reith, Joe, Ryan), but haven't installed it yet. Thought there were just 2; if they're 4 drain points/lines, I need to check that out. Anyone? Thanks!

Should be one in each corner 4 total.

Yes there are two drains at the front and two at the rear. The front drains can be checked by pouring a small amount of water ie small paper cup worth at each corner and see if it comes out from behind the body trim panel just rear of the front tires. you can check the rear drains parking nose up on a slight incline and pouring water at each side of the sunroof tray.
the felt seal that goes around the opening does not stop water completely it just slows the flow, that's why the drains are there. To access the rear drain tubes where they attach to the roof tray requires removing the headliner.

The drain tubes are #56 in the picture (only one each front and rear pictured)

I hope this helps, Robert

great detailed reply Robert.

My current project entails replacing my 117 engines' injectors, seals and components to be replaced while in there, if needed.

Working with Charles Allison at the MB restoration center and museum in Irvine.

TY for your guidance. Happy New Year!

I bought a real small drain snake for the home.It works well, however some cars the tubing rust away too.You could force new copper tubing down, and braze it.I'm using poly tubing, and epoxy.
