Shark Fin Antenna - 2008 C300

It seems the seal for the shark fin antenna is not seating property to the roof. I am assuming the black shark fin is just a cover for the satellite antenna (I do have satellite, no navigation). Is this the case? Was also wondering if I should be concerned about rain getting under the broken seal and then down into the headliner. Any thoughts? Is the actual satellite antenna under the fin cover sealed to the roof during installation? I have attached 3 photos. Many thanks for any input and/or suggestions!! - Erik

From looking at your photos it looks like the roof may be bent at the forward part of the antenna. WIS instructions say the antenna is fastened to the roof from the inside with a single nut. It is necessary to drop the headliner for access.
I would think that if the antenna is loose it could allow water to enter.
