Looking to buy two new front doors

Both of my front doors (drivers and passenger) are rusting in the same spot. I feel the easiest way, if I can find new doors, is to just replace the door all together. Where can I find 201 chassis doors in my color that don't have this same rust? How much does it cost all together?

Any ideas you may have are greatly appreciated.

... new doors will most likely be primered from the factory

you may be able to source used doors in you color from the MB boneyards or from Europe

or look for a parts car in your color scheme to purch

good luck

Good luck searching for your doors. New ones aren't easy to justify based on cost and clean and straight used ones are getting harder to find for under $200 apiece. I've got a 1980 300D that needs new front doors and I can't find any deals worth driving an hour for. The average boneyard asks $200 per and I'm hoping to find both for that price somewhere. I can strip the internals and replace with mine, but so far I haven't found my doors.

It might be hard to find your color scheme. Your best bet may be to find any color doors for cheap, and repaint them.

What color? I got a pair of gold 201 doors and just about any color 123.

Rust usually isn't a problem in N central Florida.

My car is silver. My reason for wanting doors that are my color originally is that repainting won't ever get it as close to the color of the rest of the car as an entirely new door. I will have to investigate it further.

Try these guys: www.donbenz.com

I've bought several parts from them in the past and even though they're up here in Ontario, the 65 cent Canadian Dollar might be of help in making these more affordable.

The newest chassis they carry parts for is the W126. My car is the W201. Are there any other places that are like this place but also have 201 chassis stuff? Thanks for the help!
