how do you remove rear W124/500E speakers?

Hey, i did a search and found a couple posts where people took their rear speakers out, but no real instructions on how to get them out. All of my factory speakers were replaced by a previous owner but said there was no drilling involved, so I assume removing them should be the same. How can i get my rear speakers out?

I found this writeup by mercedesshop...

But in Figure 7, which hole is the one i'm pushing up on? Can someone circle the hole and repost the picture for me? There are 3 in the picture. Laid in my trunk for about a half hour and couldn't budge the thing.

Hi:

I will circle it and repost the pic, but basically it is the finger size hole in the upper right of figure 7. If you put your finger in there, you can even feel the bottom pf the grill cover. Should take a few minutes to find the photo and circle it, but I will add it to this postr when I am done.

Coulda swore I was messing with that hole for about a half hour, but couldn't budge it, how hard do you have to push? Some foam is in the way so it's hard to find what i'm pushing on.

The speaker is at the right edge of the red circle. If you look through the rear window while you are feeling inside that hole, you can feel the bottom of the grill tab (off to the left on mine). Pushing on the tab will let you see the grill move through the rear window. Alternatively, you can lay down in the trunk and look up there with a flash light and see the bottom of the grill. That hole is directly under the inner (center of car, closest to 3rd brake light) rear corner of the speaker grill.
