The brake light was on in my "new" 1990 190E. My mechanic said the front pads and rotors needed replacement. Me, being too cheap to spend the money right away on this car, had them replace only the pads since there was no pedal pulsation with the old rotors.
Immediatley the brakes began to squeal. I then had the mechanic pull the pads and apply that anti squeal stuff--worked for about two days. Finally, last week I had the rotors replaced, but the brakes still squeal almost as much as with the old rotors! Help, they're driving me crazy! Matt |
what kind of pads did you put on? MB or some other brand?

Did you have the pads replaced again or not? You should have the rotors and pads replaced both as new to properly break them both in...Hope it helps. Always use OE on the brake system anything else will squeal!!!!!!!!!
