An incorrect, and unwarranted conclusion.
The selective thickness pressure pads used in the M116/117 engines (among others) are just that, selective. The thickness of each one is determined during assembly of the head, and any thickness could be found on any valve. There is not a specified location for any one thickness, hence, an attempt to match the thickness by location by referring to a head on another engine will not yield the desired results.
