amsoil atf

what do you think about amsoil atf for a 1998 210 and a 2000 ml320

It seems that some people are for it and some use the recommended Dexron III.

Ordinary Dexron III can't be right, because the 210 and ML transmissions require synthetic (filled for life, they claim). That's different from 722.3 and 722.4. So I'd check the Mercedes approved list.
