i've tried the search but i can't seem to get a good idea of what's involved.is there somebody out there who can walk us(i KNOW i'm not the only one who will benefit)through the steps of removing and repacking front wheel bearings.i've gathered that grease amount is critical when repacking.how will you know the proper amount?thanks, guys

The advice you are requesting would , in my opinion,be a real safety issue. I would never advise someone on how to service wheel bearings on the phone or on the internet. I know they are just bearing and grease, but if you don't really know what you are doing, you can put your life and the lives of others in danger.I'm always willing to offer advice about cars until it becomes a safety issue. I suggest that you ask around locally for someone to show you the proper procedure. Possibly the local high school or college shop teacher could be a good source.

Good luck,
Peter
