M110 engine temp
I'm trying to figure out what the avg temp should be on this engine when I'm running it but I've had no luck. Can someone please tell me roughly what temp it should be on average and if it tends to fluctuate up and down a couple of degrees depending on how I'm driving. Thanks

Ideally the temperature should hover around the middle of the temp gauge range. Usually somewhere around 85˚C. It will move around with load on the engine and ambient conditions (outside temp, A/C on or off, etc). Depending on what the thermostat is doing and how well the cooling system works, you can see it move between 80-100˚ and still be within normal.

M110 engine temp
Here's the cut in temp of various MB models including the W124. Normal range with AC should be between 85 - 107 C. Without AC 85 - 104 C.
