MAF sensor m113
So, I keep getting a code thrown that the MAF sensor is low voltage. So, I run a diagnostic on it. The readings at idle are 36 kg at an idle... What the heck?? What would this signify?? Bad MAF sensor??
Anyways, this problem's been chasing me around the bend. Thanks for the help. |
If you're needing to replace the MAF sensor, take a look at the link below to our tech article on the procedure. Please let us know if you have any questions!

MAF sensors usually are 1gm/sec/litre of engine displacement. my 3.2 litre engine sucks 3.2 to 3.4 gms/sec at idle. my other cars (japanese and american follow this too - e.g. 2.4 lit toyota is 2.4 gm/sec at idle) clean out the MAF sensor and make sure there are no leaks in the induction tubing and also the breather pipes/caps. If there is a leak the MAF will register low input signal. |
